VINSGUIR ab roller wheels

An ab wheel is the simplest machine in a gym and one of the hardest to use well. What decides whether you keep at it is the handles: soft EVA foam, shaped so your grip doesn't slip when you're fully stretched out. Then comes the tread width, which sets how much the wheel helps you balance.

Pick your width

Wider treads roll straighter. Our 3.2 and 4.4 inch dual wheels and the 4.2 inch single wheel hold a line for you, and the 2 inch rounded Core Strength wheel makes your obliques do that work.

Band-assisted or free?

The hardest part of a rollout is pulling back from full extension. A resistance band clipped to the frame or your feet helps you through that part until your core can do it alone.

What's built in

Steel shafts rated to 440 pounds, EVA rubber-cotton handles, textured non-slip treads and, on most sets, a thick knee pad.

Questions about ab wheels

How often should I use an ab wheel?

Two to four short sessions a week is plenty. Start with a few slow kneeling rollouts and stop when your lower back starts to take over.

The handle is hard to push on. Is that normal?

Yes, the fit is tight on purpose. A little soapy water on the steel tube lets the handle slide on.

Do I need a knee pad?

On hard floors, yes. Most of our sets include one; the Core Strength wheel doesn't, so use a folded mat.
